I love to photograph churches, temples, and shrines - the dwellings of the Gods. These holy spaces retain the energy of countless prayers, love, joy, and tears of the people who have passed through these hallowed halls. The rosaries, the statues, the religious icons, the stained-glass windows, the alters, the suzu bells, the stupas, the Buddhas - all are deeply important to the people who have worshipped there. I hope these images impart the feelings of peacefulness and sanctity that I felt when I captured them.
